The formula is: grams = mL × density (g/mL). Simply multiply the volume in milliliters by the substance's density to get the mass in grams.

Look up the density of your ingredient (e.g., flour is about 0.593 g/mL, sugar is about 0.845 g/mL). Then multiply your mL measurement by that density. For example, 250 mL of flour = 250 × 0.593 ≈ 148 grams.
